JV Head Coach: Brad Hock
Brad’s history with the MV Men’s Lacrosse program dates back to the inaugural season in 2004 when my two nephews were playing on the team. Brad and his son watched many games, including the back to back to back championship games. Brad joined the MVHS coaching staff in the fall of 2007 and continued through the 2013 season. During that time, he was active in the steering committee, off season Sniper events, and the fall indoor league. Brad also started working with the San Jose Stealth NLL team in 2007 on a part time basis. Brad’s position with the Stealth continued while they played in Washington state. When the team relocated to Vancouver, BC in 2013, Brad stepped away from MVHS lacrosse when relocating to Canada. As VP of the Stealth, Brad was responsible for coordinating the logistics of the team travel, equipment ordering and distribution, promotional events, player appearances, and assisting with the Junior Stealth youth program during the off season. Brad feels very fortunate to have been around the highest level of coaches and players, and has seen first hand what it takes to play at the professional level. That includes being part of the 2010 National Lacrosse League championship team. Brad was on staff with MVHS for the 2011 NCS championship and was fortunate to be part of 3 NCJLA championship teams with the Scorpions program (6A, 7A, and 8A). He has seen the MVHS lacrosse program not only as a coach, but as a parent of a 2011 MVHS lacrosse player and parent. Brad is also an NCJLA level 2 field referee, a US Boxla certified indoor referee, and lastly an MVHS graduate.
